A Living Legacy – Through Fly Fishing

A while ago we published a piece on “Fly Fishing as a Cure for PTSD” (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), featuring veteran Chad Brown and the work he is doing with inner-city kids.

You may also have heard of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.   This is an organization that focuses on the veterans themselves, helping them physically and emotionally through fly fishing.

The founder of the organization is Ed Nicholson, and below you will find a wonderful but all too short profile on what he is doing to make a difference.

It is part of “While I’m Here | The Legacy Project,” which profiles living legacies while they’re still doing what they do best … turning life into legacy.  (You can also watch a  behind-the-scenes video.)

And thanks to Orvis for the link that first alerted us to this piece.
