Perfection at the End of the Line
Want to quickly add a new leader to that loop at the end of your fly line?
Use the perfection loop.
But it’s also an easy way to add a streamer to your tippet because the loop, when used instead of the normal clinch knot (or whatever your favourite is), it allows the streamer more freedom of movement in the water.
In this video by Tightline Productions, Tim Flagler demonstrates the knot four times, using different thicknesses of line, to leave you in no doubt how to grip the leader and then finish off the knot.
He also demonstrates the slightly different technique used to attach the streamer.
Watch and practice!
